Obituary for Danny O'Niel Adams
Graveside Inurnment services for Mr. Danny O'Niel Adams, 73 of Ardmore, are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Mount Olive Cemetery with Rev. Waylon Dancer officiating. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
Danny was born May 1, 1948 to the late Mr. Lonnie Curtis Adams and Mrs. Margie Leah (Todd) Adams. He departed from this life on Friday, May 21, 2021 in Ardmore.
Danny was raised in Velma attending and graduating from Velma High in 1966. He attended East Central University and graduated with a bachelors in History. Shortly after, Danny taught school at Elmore City Public Schools for a short period of time before working at Uniroyal/Michelin mostly in shipping and receiving. He retired in 2008. He married the former Mrs. Sandra June Easley on April 21, 1998 in Gainesville, TX. Danny enjoyed fishing, reading and he loved the outdoors. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Healdton.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and an infant brother, Thomas Lee Adams.
Danny is survived by his wife, Sandra of the home; son, Joshua Patrick Adams and his wife Crista of Healdton; step children, Mike Easley of Anna, TX Melissa Lee and husband Jaycen of Ardmore; adopted son, Shane Adams of Dallas, TX; brothers, Dennis Adams and wife Wanda of Bentonville, AR and Don Adams and wife Carol of Wilson; grandchildren, Zachary and Estella Adams; step grandchildren, Chandler Easley and Ethan Bateman and wife Camille; step great grandchildren, James and Amelia Bateman; and by a host of other family and friends.
