Obituary for Boyd Gene Justus
Healdton - Cremation Memorial Services for Mr. Boyd Gene Justus, 72, of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, Oct. 14, 2021 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Healdton with Rev. Mark Fuller officiating.
Boyd was born on Sept. 10, 1949 at Loco to the late Mr. Ben Justus and Mrs. Dorlea (Mulans) Justus. He departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021 at a health care facility in Oklahoma City.
Boyd was raised at Loco attending school there. After school he began roofing houses and continued that line of employment for the rest of his working years. He married the former Ms. Carolyn Sue Tupin on Sept. 4, 2004 at Dillard. They have made their home in Healdton, where Boyd enjoyed fishing at the Healdton lake. He loved being outdoors and being with his grand kids. Boyd always had a relationship with the Lord and would help anyone he could.
Preceding him in death, parents; brothers, Bill, Doyle, Eli and Dewie; sisters, Mary Lee Ruth, Jessie Hancock, Lois Carter, Carol Henderson and Ann Hudson; son, Boyd Gene, Justus, Jr. and daughter, Carrie Don Selzer.
Survivors include his wife wife Carolyn Sue (Harkins) Justus of the home in Healdton; daughter, Gina Rogers and husband Lionel of Lawton; son, Billy Jo Justus and wife Christina of Ada; stepchildren, Robert Jameson of the home, Billy Joe Pierce and wife Chytana of Healdton and Kimberley Kinard and husband Daniel of Wilson; 18 grandchildren; 13 great grand babies and one more on the way; numerous nieces and nephews and other family.
