Obituary for Brenda Lee Nipp-Edwards (Wright)
Wilson - Funeral services for Mrs. Brenda Lee (Wright) Nipp-Edwards, 55 of Healdton are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022 at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Mike Johnston officiating. Interment will follow at the Rose Hill Cemetery of Ardmore.
Brenda was born July 10, 1966 at Ardmore to the late Mr. LeRoy and Mrs. Leona B. (Parrott) Wright. She departed this life on Wed. Feb. 16, 2022 at her home in Healdton.
Brenda was raised at Dougherty and Davis, graduating from Davis High School. She married Mr. Bobby Nipp on Sept. 21, 1987 at Greenville. They made their home in Lone Grove and then Healdton. Bobby preceded her in death on April 13, 2005. Brenda would later marry Mr. Jeff Edwards and he too preceded her in death in April of 2017.
Brenda was a devoted mother and homemaker and loved her dogs and was active in dog rescue. She loved finding good deals at all the thrift stores and loved to travel and be with her family.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, LeRoy and Leona Wright.
Survivors include her children, Brandon Wayne Nipp and fiancé Jolisa Ellison' of Healdton, Dakota Andrew Nipp of Oklahoma City and Makayla Rose Nipp of Ada; stepchildren, Johnny Nipp and wife Shenna and Melanie Martin and husband Brandon, all of Ringling; 3 grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
Casket bearers are Brandon Nipp, Dakota Nipp, Jeremiah Jones, Cameron Webb, Johnny Nipp, Kolby Auld, Jerry Ellison, Jr. and Michael Stradley.
Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Monday evening at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
