Obituary for Debbie Jewell McElfresh (Watkins)
Wilson - Graveside Services for Mrs. Debbie Jewell McElfresh, 57 of Ringling are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 28, 2022 at the Crow Cemetery with Ricky Dobbs officiating.
Debbie was born November 9, 1964 in Oklahoma City, OK to the late Mr. O'Dell Watkins and Mrs. Jewell (Faulkner) Watkins. She departed from this life on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at her home in Ringling.
Debbie was raised in Ardmore attending school there. She met and fell in love with Clinton Kenneth "CJ" McElfresh, Jr. They soon married on November 23, 1983 at their home. Together, they made their home in Houston Texas before moving to this area to be closer to family. Debbie enjoyed to drink, being around her family especially her daughter and best friend, Ashley and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping, going to the flee market with Ronda and a time her and CJ got to go on a cruise.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and 2 brothers.
Debbie is survived by her husband, CJ of the home; children, DJ Johns of Ardmore, Ashley Blanton and husband Daniel of Ringling, Clinton McElfresh and wife Jessica of Ada, and Darryn Floyd of Ringling; brothers, Hershel Watkins of Ardmore, Corky Watkins of Ardmore, and Bobby Watkins of Tulsa; 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; all her Texas Family; and other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jared Johns, Christpher Johns, Braxton Johns, Ronnie Davis, Jessie Doss, Rodney Doss, Darryn Floyd, and Daniel Blanton.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5-7 P.M. at Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
