Obituary for Jeremy Lee "Rudy " Moyers
Wilson - Memorial Services for Mr. Jeremy " Rudy" Lee Moyers, 44, formerly of Ardmore are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Inurnment will follow at the Hewitt Cemetery of Wilson with military honors provided by the Chickasaw Honors Team.
Jeremy was born on Nov. 22, 1977, at Ardmore to Donald Lee Moyers and Ina Jimece (Conway). He departed this life on Monday, May 16, 2022, at his home in Sparks, NV.
Jeremy was raised at Ardmore graduating from Plainview High School in 1996. He joined the United States Army, serving two years honorably, mostly overseas in South Korea. He attended college at the University of Central Florida and most of his years, worked as an electrician and as a chef. Jeremy had an amazing singing voice and was an ordained minister.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents, Shirl D. Conway, Homer Moyers and Betty Thomason.
Survivors include his beloved son, Oliver Lee Moyers of Sparks, NV; father, Don Moyers and wife Debbie of Wilson; mother, Ina Conway-Smith and husband Rick of Dickson; sister, Jami Miller and husband Jeff of Arizona; step siblings, Danny Pickelsimer and wife Holly of Mustang and Kristen Pierce and husband Rodney of Leon; grandmother Jewel D. Conway of Dickson; aunts, Barbara Jones and husband Marty of Lone Grove, Ginger Conway and husband Chris of Bowlegs and Kellie Crider and husband Terry of Dickson; uncle, Robert Moyers and wife Kim of Dickson; his beloved service dog and companion, Zeus; and numerous other family and a multitude of friends.
Honorary Pallbearers are Nick Girard, Michael Moyers, John Reagor and Marty Jones.
