Obituary for Roy Blake Carroll
Ardmore - Graveside Services for Mr. Blake Carroll is scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the Rose Hill Cemetery of Ardmore with cousin Ronnie Carroll officiating. Services are under the direction and care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.
Mr. Roy Blake Carroll was born on Nov. 6, 1958 at Ardmore to the late Mr. Jack Walton Carroll and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Gilmore) Carroll. He departed this life on Thursday April 28, 2022 at the Wilson Nursing Home.
Blake graduated from Dickson High School in 1976. He grew up riding horses and loved every minute of it throughout his life. He married Therese Hennessy and they were blessed with two children, Keith and Jessie. He was a great dad to them and always had the most clever advise.
Blake done construction most all of his working years, having Circle C fencing for many years. Lastly he was employed for Kornhaas Construction. Blake was a past member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church, being baptized there at the age of 12.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Jack and Beth Carroll; brother, Kelly and nephews Kelly Paul Carroll and Greg Sullivan.
Survivors include his daughter, Jessie Idleman and husband Doyle of Wilson; son, Keith Hennessy of Ardmore; sister, Diana Mills and husband Fred of Ardmore; grandchildren, Graci Idleman, Jax Allen Hennessy, Teya and Tommy Houser and Haley and Hunter Houser; numerous special aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous nieces and nephews.
