Obituary for Donna June Goldston (Poulson )
A gathering for Mrs. Donna June (Poulson) Goldston, 74, of Healdton, formerly of Sadler, TX is scheduled for 1:00 PM Sunday May 8, 2022 at her nieces residence, Darla Tucker 725 Deleon St. Denison, TX 75020. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Healdton.
Donna was born September 22, 1947 at Tulare, CA to the late Johnnie Poulson and Merle (White) Poulson. She departed this life Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Wilson Nursing Home.
Donna was raised at Tulare where she graduated High School. Donna worked for several years for the American Red Cross, lastly as an instructor. Mostly she resided in this area at Sadler, TX working some as a CNA and at Eisenhower's birthplace. She also willingly volunteered her time with many organizations and facilities throughout her years.
Donna was married to the late Mr. Johnny Goldston of Sadler, TX for several years. She always enjoyed any kind of artwork, doing cross stitching and drawing. Her most cherished moments were spent with her grandchildren and other family. Donna was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
In addition to her husband Johnny, also preceding her in death are her parents; siblings, Clarence Leon, Opal, Olive, Dorothy, Bonnie, Cora Lee, Johnny Jr., Richard Ray, Earl Dwight, Bobby and Linda Virginia; son, Eric Gunsolus, Granddaughter, Renee Gunsolus; Grandson, Christopher Galbraith and son in law, David Watson.
Survivors include her daughter Lori Watson of Healdton; sons, Freddy Hooley of Portland, OR and Shawn Gunsolus; sister, Dolores Gooding of Spokane, WA; grandchildren, Jessica Zijlstra and husband Johannes, Sarah Galbraith, Eric Allen, Joey Allen, Stone Reese, Grace Gunsolus, and Eden Gunsolus; great grandchildren, Arahsay and Marshall Zijlstra, Harper Galbraith-Solis and Hera Galbraith; numerous other family.
