Obituary for Kathryn Alice "Kathy" Roberts (Pruett)

Wilson - Graveside Inurnment services for Kathryn Alice (Pruett) Roberts, 65, formerly of Wilson are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, May 16, 2022, at Hewitt Cemetery with Doug Henson officiating. Family visitation will be held from 2 to 4 pm Sunday afternoon at Alexander Gray Funeral Home of Wilson.

Kathy, went to be with the Lord on Monday morning May 9, 2022, peacefully at her home in Magnolia, Texas. She cherished every second of her 65 years, 3 months and 30 days.

She was born January 10, 1957 in Carter County, a daughter to the late Leonard and Essie Pruett. She was raised in Wilson, Oklahoma, baptized at Rexroat at 10 years old and graduated from Wilson High School in 1975. Kathy married the love of her life, Gary Roberts on August 16, 1975 at the First Baptist Church in Wilson. They had the type of relationship that any couple could aspire to have, genuine, unconditional and always fun.

Kathy was a one of a kind Mimi to her grandsons, a master of all the trades, and one of the kindest people you would ever have the fortune to meet. She was talented at everything she set her heart to; painting, photography, sewing, crochet, metal smithing, antiquing, camping, gardening and worshipping. Not only did she truly enjoy crafting, her passion and talent touched the lives of countless others. She had more projects in the making than most of us will ever even start. There just wasn’t enough time in the world for Kathy to touch all the people she wanted to with her limitless creativity and faith.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Betty Ann Salsbury, niece Jennifer and her brother Allen Ray Pruett.

Mimi’s life will be celebrated forever by her husband of 46 years, Gary Clark Roberts, son Geremy Clark Roberts, daughter Rebecca Kathryn (Roberts) Levy, and two grandsons Harrison Clark and Hudson Grant Levy. She will be remembered by so many others who were touched by her generous love and creative light.
