Obituary for Patricia Jean Hall (Morgan)
Simon - Funeral Services for Mrs. Patricia Jean (Morgan) Hall, 82, of Maysville, KY, formerly of Simon are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Alexander Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Wilson with Rev. Daniel Akers officiating. Interment will follow at Morgan's Rest Cemetery in Simon.
Patricia was born on August 18, 1939, at Simon to the late Mr. Erskin D. Morgan and Mrs. Clara (Shaw) Morgan. She went to her heavenly home on Monday June 20, 2022 at Maysville, KY.
Patricia was raised at Simon attending most of her school years at Meadowbrook. She married Mr. James Delton "Pete" Caldwell and they were blessed with three children, Sherry, James and Sheila. They made their home in Arkansas, residing at Blytheville. Pete preceded her in death on Dec. 31, 1973. Patricia would later in life meet her future husband at the Calvary Baptist Church. There, she married Mr. Calvin Hall on June 17, 1978. Calvin was called into the ministry, which moved them frequently across the United States. They settled in Kentucky where they have remained.
Patricia was a terrific minister's wife always being dedicated to her husband's calling. She taught endless bible studies, vacation bible school's and worked tirelessly on several missionary assignments. Outside the church, Patricia was employed with Sears, working in retail and had served lastly as part of the sales clerk training team for the Sears. She was always very instrumental with children at their church and was devoted to God's work.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Pete; daughter, Sharon LaNell "Sherry" Pate; granddaughter, Summer Brandee Pate; siblings, Brenda Smith, Rogers Morgan, Jerry Dwain "Fuzz" Morgan and Carolyn Martin.
Survivors include her husband Calvin R. Hall of the home in Kentucky; son, James Caldwell and wife Paula of Maud, TX; daughter, Sheila Kuykendall of Richmond, VA; step son, Jonathan C. Hall and wife Kristi of Cumming, GA; sister in law, Kathy Morgan of Simon; grandchildren, Scot, Jennifer, Brooklyn, Mary, Jon and Hannah; 8 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Terral Tucker, Mike Morgan, Finley Morgan, Dale Shaw, Ernest Morgan and Jimmy Morgan.
Family visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Wilson.
