Obituary for Jessica Lynn Miller (Balfour)

Wilson - Funeral Services for Jessica Lynn Miller, 34 are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday July 30, 2022 at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson with Rev. Mark Fuller officiating. Interment will follow to McAlister Cemetery.

Jessica was born on June 9, 1988 in Ardmore, OK to Mr. Brian L. Balfour and Mrs. Frankie Ruth (Lawson) Whatley. She departed from this life on Monday, July 25, 2022 in Denison, TX.

Jessica was raised in Marietta/Wilson areas attending school in Marietta. She married Chris Miller in Ardmore in 2008 and together they were blessed with 3 children, Faith, Hope, and Brantley. Later she met and fell in love with Asa Hall and she was blessed with a bonus son, River. Together they made their home in Wilson for the past 5 years before making their home in Colbert. Jessica was a devoted homemaker and was a great mother to her kids. When she worked outside of the home, she worked at the local casinos as a dealer, clerk and cashier. Jessica loved dirt track racing and really enjoyed making any event she could in Ardmore and Denison. She enjoyed watching her kids during their sporting events; game nights with the family and she loved her brothers. Jessica was a free spirit, easy going, outspoken but someone who generously loved everyone.

Preceding her in death was her grandparents, George and Sheila Kaliman and Jake Whatley.

Jessica is survived by her partner, Asa Hall; her children, Faith Miller, Hope Miller, Brantley Miller and River Hall parents, Frankie and Brad Whatley; father, Brian Balfour; siblings, Cody Welch, Michael Whatley, Daniel Whatley, Kevyn Balfour, and Allyson Balfour; grandparents, Jim Lawson, Evelyn Garrison, Mildred Whatley, Ronnie and Dottie Stearns; and by a host of other family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Cody Welch, Michael Whatley, Daniel Whatley, Riley Pierce, Joey Stears, and Jerry Welch. Honorary bearers will be all her dirt track racing family.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home in Wilson.
