Curtis E. Yblood, 87, of North Richland Hills, TX, passed away on October 17, 2015. Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Friday at Mount Olive Cemetery in Healdton.
Curtis was born October 2, 1928 to Velma and E.M. (Skeet) Yblood in Dillard Oklahoma. Graduated Healdton High School in 1946 and served in the U.S. Army in Guam during the Korean War as a chaplain’s assistant.
Curtis married the love of his life, Maxine Blevins on May 24, 1951 and was together for 62 years.
He retired from Bell Helicopter in 1989 where he worked in the logistics department.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents Velma and Skeet, wife Maxine, oldest son Terry Wayne and infant son William Dale.
He is survived by his son Mark Alan and wife Darlene of Arlington, TX, Grandson Dallas Wayne and wife Jessica of Fairhope, AL, Great-grandson Elijah Raine and Great-granddaughter Zoe Brooke of North Richland Hills, Great-grandsons Jackson Wayne and Zakkary Layne of Fairhope, AL.
