Ringling – Memorial Services for Ms. Sherri Lea (Choate) Sasnett, 60, of Blanchard are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Alexander Funeral Home Chapel in Ringling with Rev. Kevin Boarders officiating.

Sherri was born in Oklahoma City to Mr. Homer Lee Choate and Mrs. Shirley Joy (Davis) Choate on September 21, 1956. She departed from this life on April 25, 2017 at her home in Blanchard.

Sherri was raised in Tuttle and attended Tuttle Public Schools, graduating in 1974. She married Lemuel Don Workman in 1974 and was blessed with a son, Bradley Shane Workman. In 1978, Sherri married Eddy Wayne Sasnett in 1978 and was blessed with a son, Eddy Wayne Sasnett, Jr. and together raised Amy Dawn Sasnett and Tony Wayne Sasnett. She enjoyed barrel racing and rodeo as a child and teenager, as well as participating on the local cheer team. Sherri worked as a bookkeeper for several private companies and her hobbies included interior decorating, cooking and shopping. Sherri loved music, dancing, as well as hanging out and visiting with her many family members and friends.

Preceding her in death is her father, Homer Lee Choate; grandparents, Virgil and Estella Davis and Tom and Beulah Choate and by an uncle, Ricky Alan Davis.

Sherri is survived by her children, Bradley Shane Workman and wife Angie, Eddy Wayne Sasnett, Jr., Amy Dawn Sasnett and Tony Wayne Sasnett; mother, Shirley Joy Choate; soul mate, Eddy Wayne Sasnett; siblings, Terry Choate and wife Donna and Shelia Williams and husband Coy; grandchildren, Brayden Workman, Darby Workman, Cooper Workman, Victoria Gathright and husband Colton, Nicholas Moomey, Christopher Moomey, Sephra Sasnett, Anna Sasnett, Jaiben Sasnett and Allie Sasnett; and a host of other family and friends.
