Ringling - Funeral Service for Mrs. Mary Katherine (Harrison) Jackson, 85 are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Monday, August 14, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church of Ringling. Interment will follow to Ringling Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.

Mary was born on November 10, 1931 in Oklahoma City to the late Mr. Leonard Everett Harrison and Mrs. Marie Loraine (Marcum) Harrison. She departed from this life on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at her home in Ringling.
Mary was raised in Oklahoma where she met the love of her life, Harold Govie Jackson in Pauls Valley. They were united in marriage on August 28, 1948 in Gainesville, TX. Mary and Harold moved to Arlington, TX and started their life together. They were blessed with five children, Wanda, Barbara, Bud, David and Halie. Mary retired from Southwestern Bell in 1983. They made their home in Ringling, where they started Ranching. She was a member of Ringling First United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Leonard and Marie; step mother, Lucille; sisters Lois and Doris and brother, Gene.

Mary is survived by her loving husband Harold of the home; daughters, Wanda Jackson and Jerry Waldie of Ringling and Barbara Jackson of Cleburne, TX; sons, Bud Jackson and Amy Fallaw of Mansfield, TX and David Jackson and wife Christi of Granbury, TX; daughter, Halie Hale and husband Chris of Ringling; sisters, Linda and Sharon both of Oklahoma City; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Ethan Johnson, Gavin Johnson, Waylon Johnson, Dalton Fallaw, Brayden Johnson and Preston Waldie.

Honorary bearer will be Jerry Waldie.

A family visitation is scheduled for Sunday evening from 3-5 P.M. at Alexander Funeral Home in Ringling.
