Obituary for Paul Alexander Baus

Paul Alexander  Baus
Ardmore – Paul A. Baus, 95, of Ardmore was born on March 7, 1923 in McCracken, KS to the late Mr. William Baus and Mrs. Anna (Wegele) Baus. He departed this life on June 18, 2018 at the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Ardmore at the age of 95 years, 3 months, and 11 days. Graveside services with military honors are scheduled for 10 A.M. Friday, June 22, 2018 at the Newport Cemetery in Lone Grove. Services are under the care and direction of Alexander Funeral Home of Wilson.

Mr. Baus was raised in McCracken, Kansas and attended school there. He honorably served in the United States Army where he was a message center clerk in the 15th Fighter Group in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. Mr. Baus had a strong work ethic and was self employed owning his own sewing machine and vacuum cleaner business. Paul had lived in Oklahoma for the past 42 years. He lived the last 8 years at the Oklahoma Veterans Center in Ardmore.

He is preceded in death by parents, an infant son, Brad Baus, sisters, Rosa and Wilma, and brothers, Ray and Elmer.

Mr. Baus is survived by his children, Tamera Ann Carter of Pittsburgh, PA, Paul A. Baus, II and wife Dawn of Georgia, Cary Grant Baus of Lone Grove, Tadd Alexander Baus of San Antonio, TX, and Brent Baus of Noble; brother, William Baus of LaCrosse, KS; 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
